    The Best Dog Training Collar

Many people believe that the best dog training collar is the electronic one. These kinds of collars often have a favorable response from dog owners and trainers alike. There are some people that think that the dog's response is conditioned by pain, while it is actually the element of suprise that silences the dog.

    How they Work

The electronic collar comes as a conventional collar with a devised attached to it. It is worn around the neck by the dog, and it's the source of small electricals impulses. The collar comes with a small manual with instructions that will explain its correct and proper usage.

Most of these electronic dog training collars instruct the dog owner to place the training collar in such a way around the dog's neck that the device is directly beside the dog's throat. Doing this ensures that the device can sense the rumble from the dog's throat as it barks and is thought that the dog would then react appropriately. When it detects barking, the device will suprise the dog by emiting a small static shock that is painless, confusing the pet momentarily.

The fact that the dog is surprised into silence is the reason why trainers and dog owners consider this collar as the best dog training collar. It's worth of mention that the dog is not harmed, injured or subjected to pain in any way when the shock is delivered.

There is yet another benefit to this kind of collar, since it's taken with the dog wherever it goes, it willl remind it that barking is not permitted wherever the pet is. There are other options used to teach dogs to control their barking at night or when guests arrive to the house, however, they might require the dog to be within a certain range, or an owner to press a button in a control when the dog barks, which would mean a constant supervising of the pet.

According to several dog trainers, the best dog training collar is the electronic one. Despite what some people think, the collar is not painful in any way. It's efficiency and ethical treatment of dogs make it the best dog training collar.
